Drugs: Medical Marvels or Malevolent Molecules?
For our May 2014 Big Question lecture we were joined by Tilli Tansey OBE, Professor of the History of Modern Medical Sciences at Queen Mary University of London. This lecture asked the question: “Drugs: Medical Marvels or Malevolent Molecules?”. It was delivered as part of the Sores, Spores and Sickly Bugs project, which brought together young people to explore and compare the medical heritage of East London with their present-day experiences.
